Hillary was right, Sexism is still alive and well

Published by smartblackgirl at 4:45 pm under entertainment Edit This

Why is I only hear about the WNBA when there’s a fight between female players? Why do I hear more about a fight Candace Parker had with another player more than I hear about her slam dunks? Sexism, duh. This week was a girlfight bonanza with Danica Patrick fighting with another female car racer, and D-listers Omarosa and Wendy Williams arguing. Because Black women aren’t portrayed on TV enough as loud, ghetto shrews. Stay classy, ladies.

I know women don’t always get along ( and ironically, I don’t have many female friends, but that’s another blog post). It’s just so tiresome to always see women at each others’ throats on TV. I know that the media won’t change their old-fashioned ways, but it’s time new-fashioned media ( like my blog!) call them on their sexist portrayals of women.
